The bolsters are also made of Damascus Twist, combining perfectly with the South American Massaranduba wood, which not only has a beautiful warm look, but also offers extreme durability and resistance to environmental conditions. The elaborate file work on the blade spine adds an attractive touch and works as a thumb ramp for an extra secure grip.
